GERNIK VILLAGE
The largest Czech village in Romania, Gârnic was built entirely by Czechs. The traditions and customs of the community have remained frozen in time, the place being a real treasure for those who want to discover the secrets of the Danube River.
Going back to their alma mater, many young people from the Czech Republic travel here so they can hear the language of their ancestors. Guests are greeted with special warmth by the locals, proud of their identity, and the scenery that stands next to them.

LAKE
OCHIUL BEI
Ochiul Bei Lake, originally karstic, is located in Cheile Nerei National Park, in the heart of The Anina Mountains. The lake is famous for its blue-green water that does not freeze in winter.
The whole place is full of local fairy tales and myths, the surrounding fauna enhancing the fantastic image of the place.

But don’t stop here, traveler, because the waterfalls on the Moldavița River are flowing restlessly, cheerful to receive their guests. And the beech forests you pass through, shady and mysterious, will rise in the way of the peaks of The Almăjului Mountains and The Danube Carpathians.

BIGĂR
In 2013, „The World Geography” made a top of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. And guess who took the lead? Bigar Waterfall, of course!
Located in Caras-Severin County, it’s one of the biggest attractions in Cheile-Nerei National Park. The waterfall is mesmerizing, being one of the tourist landmarks of the area to which we gladly guide you to check it out.
IRON GATES NATIONAL PARK

If you love sunsets, witness the sun going down on an island very well known in the area – Ostrovul Mare.
Located in the SW of Mehedinți County, Ostrovul Mare has a spectacular history.
700 years ago, the Golubac Fortress or Pigeon Fortress was built on the right bank of the river in Serbia. Being built on a Roman site, it represents a real splendor for anyone who wants to discover its hidden secrets.
If you are passionate about history, you must discover the millennia-old remains of the Romans. Coming to the intersection of Banat to Oltenia county, you will find one of the main roads used by the Romans after the conquest of Dacia. In the archeological site found in the area, you will come upon the remains of Vilae Rusticae and the ruins of the Roman camps.
And speaking of the Danube, a boat trip on Europe’s second river is the ultimate temptation. Discover one of the wildest areas of the continent, the place where water and rock are still fighting for supremacy to this day.
